The Handmade Artist's Forum was started by a wonderful husband and wife team, Andrew and Kimberley. Its goal is to promote handmade, and the people who create handmade. It is a wonderful sort that has spawned an Etsy team and an ArtFire Guild, as well as several outreach programs on sites such as Twitter, Plurk and Facebook, in an effort to further promote fabulous handmade artisans.

As the Handmade Artist's Forum grew, which it did at a rapid rate, it was decided that there was no better way to promote handmade than to start a multi-vendor selling site devoted only to handmade. The Handmade Artists Shop was born. Whilst still in its infancy it is sure to grow as rapidly as the Handmade Artist's Forum has, especially with the devotion and drive of Andrew and Kimberley.
